Yadier Molina was put on this earth to play baseball. He
embodies the code, the Cardinal Way (ask Brandon Phillips). I conjure not even
a figment of a life for him away from the diamond. Can you? No hobbies. No
social life. No business endorsements; just baseball - except for what must be
for him four agonizingly long winter months when I suspect him of hibernating in some secret cave entombed
deep under Busch Stadium, oiling his mitt in anticipation of Spring and a
season anew.
